475th Jubilee of the Staatskapelle Dresden with Christian Thielemann, Janine Jansen & Antoine Tamestit

Yesterday we kicked off the Staatskapelle Dresden’s season opening tour in celebration of the orchestra’s 475th anniversary. With Principal Conductor Christian Thielemann and Janine Jansen as well as Antoine Tamestit as soloists the programme ranging from Mendelssohn-Bartholdy and Hindemith to Strauss is performed by stellar musicians. The tour will now take us from Amsterdam’s Concertgebouw to the Lucerne Festival, Vienna’s Musikverein and the Alte Oper in Frankfurt.
