Antoine Tamestit Artist-in-Residence of Prague Spring Festival

On 6 May Antoine Tamestit starts his residency at the Prague Spring Festival. He will chair the jury of the festival’s first ever Viola Competition, which brings together the next generation of leading violists to perform in front of a panel of some the most distinguished viola players of our time, including his own teacher, Tabea Zimmermann. Subsequently he will perform in concert with the Czech Philharmonic (in renewed collaboration with Klaus Mäkelä) and in recitals featuring two of his closest musical partners: Cedric Tiberghien and Isabelle Faust.
