Axel Kober conducts Schönberg's “Pelléas and Mélisande” at the Vienna Musikverein
Vienna celebrated the Schönberg Year 2024 in a very special way, and the hugely scored tone poem “Pelléas and Mélisande” will now be performed at the Musikverein as a finale. The Webern Symphony Orchestra will perform under the direction of Axel Kober, with Beethoven's 2nd Symphony on the program in the first part of the concert.
