Axel Kober conducts the revival of "Tannhäuser" at the Bayreuth Festival

 

Axel Kober, General Music Director of the Deutsche Oper am Rhein and Chief Conductor of the Duisburg Philharmonic Orchestra, will conduct the revival of „Tannhäuser und der Sängerkrieg auf Wartburg“  directed by Tobias Kratzer in his seventh Bayreuth Festival summer on 8th August.

The internationally acclaimed Wagner expert will be joined by a top-class ensemble of singers including stars such as Lise Davidsen and Stephen Gould.

Follow-up performances will take place on 18, 21 and 24 August.
