Gautier Capuçon "Curating Artist" at the Konzerthaus Dortmund

On this Saturday, Gautier Capuçon will start his residency as ”Curating Artist” at the Konzerthaus Dortmund.  

The series of events included in this series (March 25 – April 2) range from an chamber musical evenings (all Beethoven Cello Sonatas with longstanding musical partner Frank Braley, concerts with the Kammerorchester Wien - Berlin and the Hagen Quartett, as well as an evening with his Capucelli ensemble), to pre-concert talks, and a symphonic evening with the Dvořák Cello Concerto (Wiener Symphoniker & Robin Ticciati) as well as an open masterclass.  

A highlight of the residency will surely be the “Cartoon Jam”, where Gautier will be joined by ballet dancer Naomi Brito (Tanztheater Pina Bausch), pianist Jérôme Ducros and French cartoonist Jean Plantu (“Le Monde”) for an interdisciplinary evening of music in Dortmund’s club “Domicil”.
