German tour of the Wiener Symphoniker under the direction of Marie Jacquot
After two concerts at the Wiener Musikverien, the Wiener Symphoniker's tour of Germany starts today under the direction of Marie Jacquot. Maria Dueñas and Bruce Liu are on board as soloists. In addition to solo concertos by Beethoven and Bruch, the program includes Arnold Schoenberg's orchestral version of Johannes Brahms' 1st Piano Quartet op. 25 in Stuttgart, Freiburg, Munich, Frankfurt, Hamburg, Cologne, Düsseldorf and Hanover.
