Joseph Bastian – Debut with the Bayerisches Staatsorchester

On Friday 7 October, Joseph Bastian makes his debut with the Bayerisches Staatsorchester in his home city of Munich with fellow Bavarian Maximilian Hornung as the cello soloist. The concert is repeated on 8 and 9 Oktober.

Thomas Adès “Three Studies from Couperin”
Edward Elgar „Violoncellokonzert e-Moll op. 85“
Guillaume Lekeu „Adagio für Streichorchester“
Claude Debussy „La Mer”

In this season the French-Swiss conductor also returns to the Bayerische Staatsoper as the musical assistant of Vladimir Jurowski for Krzysztof Penderecki’s “The Devils of Loudun”.
