Julia Hagen begins the 24/25 season with her debut with the Wiener Philharmoniker under the direction of Christian Thielemann. As winner of the UBS Young Artist Award 2024, she will perform Schumann's Cello Concerto at the Lucerne Festival on 7 September 2024. This will be followed by concerts with the Deutsche Kammerphilharmonie Bremen and Nil Vinditi at the Bremer Glocke (11/09 and 12/09) and at the Beethovenfest Bonn as well as concerts with the Chamber Orchestra of Europe with Valentin Uryupin in Antwerp (18/09) and Ghent (19/09). On 25 September, she will perform a recital with pianist Annika Treutler at the Konzerthaus Dortmund. The month will be rounded off with a performance in her hometown of Salzburg with the Mozarteum Orchestra under the direction of Constantinos Carydis on 29 September at the Großes Festspielhaus.
