The nearly sold-out performance at Wiener Konzerthaus marks Julia Hagen’s debut with the orchestra and Julian Rachlin’s first time as a conductor in front of the ensemble.
The two main works on the programme, which opens with Modest Mussorgski’s Chowanschtschina Overture, are Antonín Dvořák’s iconic Cello Concerto and Alexander Glasunow’s rarely played “Four Seasons” (Op. 67).
