Katia & Marielle Labèque in Zurich

In October and November 2021, Katia and Marielle Labèque will once again be guests at the Tonhalle Zurich. Originally planned for the 2020/21 season, the "in focus" residency with 3 performances has been expanded in the wake of the pandemic to a collaboration spanning two seasons with a total of 4 projects.

On 9 October they present their chamber music project "Don't fear the Light", together with Bryce Dessner and David Chalmin, where Steve Reich's miminal music meets compositions by Thom Yorke, Bryce Dessner, David Chalmin and Meredith Monk. On 3 and 4 November they will perform Martinu's Concerto for 2 Pianos with the Tonhalle Orchestra under the baton of Paavo Järvi.
