Marie Jacquot returns to the Bregenz Festival

As designated Principal Guest Conductor, Marie Jacquot will conduct the Vienna Symphony tonight at the Bregenz Festival: The program includes Sibelius's First Symphony and Ravel's "Valses nobles" as well as Bacewicz's rarely performed violin concerto with Benjamin Schmid as soloist. 
The next concert of the Vienna Symphony under Marie Jacquot's baton will already take place in September at the Vienna Musikverein; she gave her festival debut in Bregenz last summer.
