Mirga Gražinytė-Tyla debuts with New York Philharmonic

Mirga Gražinytė-Tyla makes her debut with the New York Philharmonic today at Lincoln Center's David Geffen Hall. The concerts on October 11, 12, 13 and 14 will feature a program ranging from works by Raminta Šerkšnytė ("De profundis") to Sibelius and Schumann, with the latter's Piano Concerto performed by Daniil Trifonov as soloist.

After this period, Mirga will go on to conduct the Philadelphia Orchestra.
