Sir András Schiff awarded the Festival Pin with Rubies at the Salzburg Festival

Last Wednesday Sir András Schiff was awarded the Festival Pin with Rubies of the Salzburg Festival. Last night marked the pianist's 67th appearance at the Festival, with Intendant Markus Hinterhäuser calling Sir Schiff "an essential artist who has helped write Festival history, one of the most important pianists of our time and a true friend of the Salzburg Festival." Congratulations!
