Warner releases debut album with Maria Ioudenitch

Maria Ioudenitch’s debut album "Songbird" was released on Warner Classics on Friday, 24 March 2023. The deeply personal album represents a journey through song, with a thoughtfully curated collection of arrangements, untouched renditions and songful instrumental works spanning from Franz Schubert, Fanny Mendelssohn and Clara Schumann to Nikolai Medtner, Richard Strauss and Nadia Boulanger.

The recording is a special prize from the 2021 Joseph Joachim International Violin Competition, where she also won First Prize. Joining her on the piano is her friend and musical collaborator, Kenny Broberg, with whom she regularly performs in recital.
