Axel Kober conducts two Ring-cycles at Vienna’s State Opera

After his acclaimed „Ring des Nibelungen“ at Vienna’s State Opera in 2019, Axel Kober was quickly invited to conduct two further series of Wagner’s magnum opus in Vienna, and now the time has come:
On 4/8/14/19 May 2022, the first Ring-Cycle will take place under Axel Kober‘s baton, the second one on 21/22/26/29 May 2022.
Already the Rheingold brings a whole series of role debuts at the Vienna State Opera, in the entire Ring, it’s among others John Lundgren as Wotan, Monika Bohinec as Fricka, Lise Davidsen as Sieglinde and Michael Weinius as Siegfried giving their Viennese role debuts.
After Kober’s „Ring on the Rhine“, we look forward to his „Ring at the Ring“!
