Giedrė Šlekytė - debut with Munich Philharmonic

Following her widely recognized success with the new production of "Káťa Kabanová" in Berlin and the revival of "La Traviata" at Bayrische Staatsoper Giedrė Šlekytė is now heading for yet another debut: with Munich Philharmonic. The programme comprises Kodály's "Dances from Galánta", Schubert's Symphony no. 7 "Unvollendete", Ravel's  "La Valse" as well as the world premiere of Lera Auerbach's cello concerto "Diary of a Madman", composed for and interpreted by Gautier Capucon.
