Ivor Bolton conducts the premiere of „Giulio Cesare“ at Theater an der Wien

For the production of Händel’s „Giulio Cesare“ in a staging by Keith Warner, Ivor Bolton returns to Theater an der Wien – in multiple musical functions: He conducts Concentus Musicus Wien, but accompanies the singers as well in their recitatives playing the harpsichord. Among the singers are Louise Alder, Bejun Mehta, Christophe Dumaux, Patricia Bardon and Jake Arditti.

The premiere takes place on 17 December 2021, with performances running until 31 December.
