Following the announcement of the Austrian governments new health guidelines allowing audiences up to 100 people to return to the concert hall, Julian Rachlin and Emmanuel Tjeknavorian are among a select number of high profile performers to appear in the Musikverein in the month of June.
Julian Rachlin will appear on 6 June with a quartet also featuring violinist Boris Brovtsyn, violist Sarah McElravy and cellist Eckart Runge in Beethoven’s String Quartet Op. 130.
Emmanuel Tjeknavorian will appear on 9 June, leading a group of young musicians in Saint-Saëns famous Carneval of the Animals and a selection of Johann Strauss Walzes. This programme will also be performed at Konzerthaus Dortmund on 10 and 11 June.
