Kirill Gerstein plays Brahms with the Gürzenich Orchestra
Under the baton of François-Xavier Roth Kirill Gerstein will perform Johannes Brahms’s First Piano Concerto on 2 February.
Before that, two world premieres by Olga Neuwirth (CoronAtion V: Spraying Sounds of Hope) and Márton Illés (TÉR-SZÍN-TÉR) will be performed, both commissioned by the Gürzenich Orchestra.
The stream will be framed by a live talk with Kirill Gerstein and François-Xavier Roth.
